Raised UV Folding Cartons — Custom Printed by Bazaar Printing

On a folding carton, raised uv is a clear, tactile gloss bump applied on top of the print via Scodix Ultra Pro — your logo or callout literally rises off the surface. A box is the part of your packaging that gets handled by a buyer standing in front of a shelf — the tactile finish does most of the work convincing them this is a premium SKU. We see this most with our skincare and supplement customers: the box upgrade usually drives more conversion than the label upgrade.

Bazaar runs HP Indigo 15K sheet-fed for the print and Scodix Ultra Pro for the finish layer in the same building. The 15K runs the largest sheet size in the Indigo family (29"), so we can fit more boxes per sheet — which keeps your unit price down even on 50-box minimums.

A folding carton has three jobs: hold the product, look right on shelf, and survive shipping. We die-cut in-house on a Heidelberg cylinder + a Bobst flatbed, glue on a Bobst Mistral, and pack to ship in the same cell. Your boxes leave our floor pre-folded or flat per your warehouse's preference.

For brands going retail, we know the Whole Foods / Erewhon / Sprouts buyer-meeting requirements (front panel, side panel, barcode placement, nutrition / supplement facts, FDA disclaimer placement). Our designer reviews every carton file against that checklist before press.

Most box printers quote you a low piece price with a $500–$1500 tooling fee buried in the proposal. Bazaar quotes one number, from 50 boxes up to 10,000+. That's why launching brands keep finding us — you can run a sample batch of 50 cartons with the raised uv finish, take them into 5 retail meetings, and then come back to print 2,000 with the same artwork.

We also build dies once, store them, and reuse on every reorder — so your unit pricing on the second run drops noticeably with no "new" setup.
