Matte on a mylar pouch
On a mylar pouch, matte is a flat, glare-free lamination — modern, premium-feeling, and easy on photography. A bag is a 3D object that gets handled, squeezed, crinkled, and stacked — finish choice has to survive all of that. We've seen too many brands get burned by a beautiful sample that scuffed white in transit.
Our pouch print stack — HP Indigo 15K on rollstock, then converted on the Karlville line — runs the finish layer at full pouch speed, so the lamination is integral to the film, not a sticker applied on top. That's the difference between a finish that lasts the life of the SKU and one that flakes after a week on a shelf.
