What we produce: heat-sealed mylar pouches for ambient and refrigerated wet pet food where your fill/seal team handles the sealing on a heat-resistant film we provide. Stand-up resealable formats, kraft / black / clear / metallic film options, hang-hole die-punch for retail peg display, food-grade FDA-compliant film stacks. Converted in-house on the Karlville line in Downtown LA.

For shelf-stable retort wet pet food (the heat-sterilized category), you'll want a retort-specific converter — that process requires a heat-resistant retort film and an industrial autoclave outside our line.

Dog treat bags need food-contact-compliant films under FDA 21 CFR — same standard as human-food packaging. We use a specific FDA-compliant film stack for wet pet food packaging runs, with the certification documentation shipped with the order. For limited-ingredient or freeze-dried treats that smell strong, we add a multi-layer barrier with a smell-proof zipper.

Retail hang-hole is the detail most printers skip. We die-punch the hang-hole in-line on the Karlville converter — at a position and size that fits standard Petco / PetSmart peg merchandising. Without it, your bag sits in a backroom box instead of on the shelf.
