Bazaar Printing
Specialty Food & Beverage Packaging

Packaging for food and beverage brands that actually ship.

We don't print pens. We print packaging.

Coffee bags, sauce jars, snack pouches, sampling boxes, recipe inserts — printed in-house on HP Indigo presses in downtown Los Angeles. Real materials, real finishing, low minimums. From sample run to scaled production.

What we print for you

Built for brands that ship physical products — not promo swag

Most online printers will sell you a business card, a T-shirt, and a tablecloth. That's not what your brand needs. You need labels on your coffee bags that don't peel in transit, pouches that meet food-contact specs, and packaging that survives a fulfillment warehouse. Bazaar Printing is a specialist for brands that ship products to real customers.

Our equipment stack tells the story: HP Indigo 15K for sheet-printed boxes and marketing materials, HP Indigo 6K for roll labels, a Karlville pouch converter for mylar bags in-house (most competitors outsource this), Scodix Ultra Pro and JetFX for raised UV and foil, and Roland TrueVIS plus Canon Colorado for wide-format. Every press is in our LA shop.

The full kit, in one shop

Launching a coffee brand? You need the bag, the side label, a recipe insert, and a sampling card. Launching a sauce line? Pouch, body label, neck label, folding carton. Most printers force you to source these from 3-4 different vendors — different artwork specs, different lead times, different reps to manage, different invoices. Bazaar prints all four under one roof.

In practice this means: one designer reviews your file across every piece, colors stay matched between your label and your insert, lead times are coordinated (so your launch isn't gated by the slowest vendor), and your invoice is one PO. For brands shipping to Target, Whole Foods, or DTC directly, this consolidation alone saves weeks of project management each launch.

Specialty finishing that gets your product picked up

Shelf presence is real. In a Whole Foods aisle, a buyer has under two seconds to notice your product. Raised UV (via Scodix Ultra Pro) creates a tactile, visibly raised effect on top of your printed label — your logo or brand mark literally sits up off the surface. Foil (via JetFX) lays a metallic film on top — gold, silver, copper, or rainbow holographic.

These finishes used to require expensive plate setups and 5,000+ piece minimums from traditional label printers. With digital embellishment, we can run raised UV and foil on a 500-piece run with no setup fees beyond standard pricing. This is the same finishing big premium DTC brands use on Goop and Sephora shelves — at a price a launching food brand can absorb.

Designer on staff — your file gets reviewed before you pay

We see brand-killing problems every week: artwork with no bleed, low-res logos, Pantone colors that won't match in CMYK, text inside the safe zone that will get clipped. Most online printers print whatever you upload and ship it. Bazaar reviews every file by hand before the press runs. If something's going to look bad, we tell you before you pay — and we'll usually fix it for free.

You don't have to be a designer to launch a brand with us. Send us a logo and a rough idea, and our design team will quote a from-scratch design package. Start a Quote for live pricing — the configurator shows volume breaks as you adjust qty. Then you own the artwork and we print it on demand as you reorder.

Why Bazaar instead of a national online printer

National online printers like Vistaprint, UPrinting, and GotPrint compete on breadth — they list 100 product categories and sell everything from yard signs to phone grips to coffee mugs. That's a different business than what you need. Most of their specialty packaging is outsourced to trade printers like 4Over, with extra lead time and a quality drop because nobody's accountable for the final product.

Bazaar runs every press in-house. When something goes wrong on your job, we fix it on our floor, not by reopening a ticket with a partner. When you call us about a reorder, you're talking to someone who can pull up the file and run it the same week. For a brand shipping a real product to real customers, this accountability matters more than another 10 SKUs on a menu.

Common questions

What is the minimum order for custom food packaging?

For roll labels and stickers, we start at 250 pieces. For mylar pouches we start at 250 pieces. For folding cartons our minimum is 50 boxes. Most online printers force you into 1,000+ piece minimums — we don't.

How long until I get my order?

Standard turnaround is 5 business days from artwork approval. Rush (3 days) is +40% and Express (next-day) is +80%. For Eco turnaround (14 business days, batched production) we discount 20% on labels and 10% on pouches.

Do you print on food-safe materials?

Yes. Our standard BOPP labels and mylar pouches are food-contact compliant. For direct food-contact applications we use specific food-safe inks and substrates — call us and we'll match you to the right stock.

Can you match Pantone colors?

We print digital on HP Indigo, which matches the vast majority of brand Pantones in-gamut. For metallics or out-of-gamut spot colors, we can run Scodix foil or JetFX raised UV. Send us a Pantone reference and we'll quote.

I don't have artwork yet — can you help?

Yes. A designer on staff reviews every artwork file before you pay, free. If you don't have artwork yet, we offer design services for label cleanup and design-from-scratch — Start a Quote for live pricing. We won't print something that's going to look bad.

Are you in Los Angeles? Can I pick up?

Yes — we're at 306 Boyd St, downtown LA. Walk-in pickup is free during business hours. Most local customers pick up to skip shipping. We also ship national via UPS / FedEx.

What's the difference between raised UV and foil?

Raised UV (via Scodix Ultra Pro) creates a clear, glossy, tactile bump on top of your printed design — great for logo emphasis. Foil (via JetFX or hot-stamping) lays a metallic film on top of the design — gold, silver, holographic. Many of our food/bev customers use foil for brand marks and raised UV for callouts.

Can I order samples first?

Yes. Free sample pack on first order — we mail you a kit of label stocks, finish swatches, and a printed proof of your design before you commit to the full run. Email us or use the chat on this page.
